West Highland Heavy Horse Centre is now Cumbrian Heavy Horses in the beautiful Whicham Valley in the Lake District. Our "riden" transfer south in September 2006 was a journey to remember. We are the U.K's only specialised Heavy Horse Riding Centre. Our Clydesdale and Shire horses work throughout the year taking visitors of all abilities riding, trekking and trail riding in one of Scotland's most scenic areas, the Sleat penninsula on the Isle of Skye.
	We are a small, family run business, we love and respect our horses, so you are assured we will do our very best to make your time with our beautiful horses very special!
We are a T.R.S.S. Approved Centre and aim for B.H.S. Approval this summer. We hope you enjoy looking at the information on our website and feel inspired to get in touch - come and join us!
